We are looking for a skilled PHP Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong experience with PHP, Laravel, MySQL, REST APIs, and modern web development practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications using PHP and Laravel.
- Build scalable and secure backend applications and RESTful APIs.
- Develop new features based on business and technical requirements.
- Design and optimize MySQL databases, queries, and relationships.
- Integrate third-party APIs and external services.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
- Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Implement authentication, authorization, validation, and security best practices.
- Optimize application performance and database queries.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, designers, and business teams.
- Perform code reviews, testing, and bug fixing.
- Use Git for version control and follow development best practices.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of PHP 8+.
- Hands-on experience with Laravel or other PHP frameworks.
- Good knowledge of MySQL and database design.
- Experience developing RESTful APIs.
- Good understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.
- Experience with Git and version control.
- Understanding of MVC architecture and OOP concepts.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of web application security.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Laravel, Redis, queues, events, and jobs.
- Knowledge of ReactJS or Vue.js.
- Experience with Docker and Linux environments.
- Knowledge of AWS or other cloud platforms.
- Experience with payment gateway and third-party API integrations.
- Familiarity with CI/CD and deployment processes.
Experience
2–5+ years of experience in PHP web application development.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
