We are looking for a skilled Odoo Software Developer to design, develop, customize, and maintain Odoo applications and modules. The ideal candidate should have strong experience with Python, Odoo framework, PostgreSQL, and web technologies, along with a good understanding of business workflows and ERP systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and customize Odoo modules based on business requirements.
- Design, develop, and maintain Odoo models, views, workflows, reports, and business logic.
- Develop custom modules using Python and the Odoo framework.
- Customize Odoo UI using XML, QWeb, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Integrate Odoo with third-party applications and external APIs.
- Develop and consume REST APIs and other integration services.
- Configure and optimize Odoo workflows and business processes.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and performance issues.
- Work with PostgreSQL databases and optimize queries when required.
- Upgrade and migrate Odoo modules between versions.
- Perform code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
- Collaborate with business analysts, QA engineers, and other developers.
- Prepare technical documentation for developed modules and integrations.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Python programming.
- Hands-on experience with Odoo development and customization.
- Good understanding of Odoo ORM, models, security rules, access rights, and workflows.
- Experience with Odoo XML views and QWeb reports.
- Working knowledge of PostgreSQL.
- Good understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web development.
- Experience with API development and third-party integrations.
- Familiarity with Git and software development best practices.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Odoo Enterprise and Community editions.
- Experience with Odoo modules such as Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, CRM, HR, or Manufacturing.
- Experience with Odoo version migration and custom module upgrades.
- Knowledge of Docker, Linux, and cloud deployment environments.
- Experience with performance optimization and large-scale Odoo implementations.
Experience
2–5+ years of experience in Odoo/Python development.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
