We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to build, automate, and maintain reliable development, deployment, and production environments. The ideal candidate should have strong experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD, Docker, Linux, monitoring, and infrastructure automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application deployment.
- Manage and maintain development, staging, and production environments.
- Automate deployment, infrastructure, and operational processes.
- Configure and manage cloud infrastructure and services.
- Manage Docker containers and containerized applications.
- Monitor application performance, infrastructure health, and system availability.
- Troubleshoot deployment, infrastructure, networking, and production issues.
- Implement logging, monitoring, alerting, and backup strategies.
- Maintain Linux servers and application environments.
- Implement security best practices across infrastructure and deployment processes.
- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and system administrators.
- Support application releases and production deployments.
- Maintain infrastructure and deployment documentation.
Required Skills
- Strong experience with Linux/Unix systems.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with Docker and container management.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD concepts and tools.
- Experience with Git and source-code management.
- Knowledge of scripting using Bash, Python, or similar languages.
- Understanding of networking, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL, and firewalls.
- Experience with application and infrastructure monitoring.
- Good understanding of DevOps and deployment best practices.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Knowledge of Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of Redis, MySQL/PostgreSQL, and web servers such as Nginx or Apache.
- Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, and IAM.
- Familiarity with ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar monitoring tools.
- Experience with high-availability and scalable infrastructure.
Experience
2–5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, System Administration, or a related role.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
